Frank Hornby started this famous brand in 1901 in Liverpool, initially producing Meccano. The first model railways were produced in 1920 and the Hornby name has become synonymous with Model Railways around the world. Today they produce and highly detailed models covering all eras from the dawn of railways to the present day.
